Ok, so I have never made a video before. Small animations over the years, yes. A video for YouTube, no way! But the Race for a Cure and my Peach friend in general are very inspiring. I am going for it. Learning new things and having a blast.

I found the Lance Armstrong Guru Challenge on YouTube, and well… how could I ignore Lance? He dared me to share our story. My husband thought I was a little bit crazy, but I did it. (Don’t tell me I can’t do something.)

I made a video for the challenge. You can watch it below or go view it on YouTube. On YouTube, please be sure to click on the “watch in high quality” link below the video on the right. Way better that way.

The video isn’t showing up on the Livestrong page yet, but I hope it will before too long. Please take a look and let us know what you think either here on the Femme Fus site (comment area) or on YouTube. Thanks!

Edit 9/3/08: we are now live on the LiveStrong contest page!

    Hi Janet and Cindy–

The site is really a great one!! Hope that it is read by lots of people who will support the fine efforts that you are both putting forth!!

Cindy – we really applaud you for your bravery and for “telling your story” – that takes courage. You have the “stuff” that makes people sit up and take notice.

    See you next week!!

    Love, Mom and Dad

  • Cindy Davis:

Thanks Laurie! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Tobiassen! I can hardly wait to see you again. It has been a few moons, eh? If the “Mr. and Mrs. Tobiassen” sounds formal, it’s because my mother wouldn’t let me address any friend’s parents any other way;) Some lessons die hard.
    Love, Cindy

I love the video! My eyes are leaking…. If love could cure cancer, you two would be curing it.

Live strong, and may the Fus be with you….

Who is “Peach”?

What is Femme Fus?
Femme is French for woman and fus is short for fuscular, a made-up word meaning fat and muscular, so there you have it: Team Femme Fus!
